The first step of peace is to stand still in the light.

Macon Worship Group, under the care of Atlanta Friends Meeting in the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers), is a faith-based community rooted in the Quaker principle that all people have within them “that of God,” or Divine Light, and thus have worth and dignity. The Light informs us in our efforts to align ourselves with the Quaker Testimonies (values) of Simplicity, Peace, Integrity, Community, Equality, and Stewardship. We welcome each person, regardless of race, color, ethnicity, national origin, age, marital status, disability, religious belief, sex, sexual orientation, or gender identity to participate in our journey of spiritual discernment and sharing.
See our "What Should I Expect?" page for more details about visiting Quaker Meeting.
